Piling start times changed to 9am for Sundays in December 2014
Merseylink has amended its starting time for Sunday morning piling work in the estuary for December 2014 after listening to feedback from local residents.
Piling work will not take place on Sunday mornings in December 2014 on the trestle bridge or the cofferdams before 9am.

Slip road from Ditton Junction to Speke Road to close for five months
A major slip road in Widnes will be closed for five months from next week (2 December) with local diversions put in place as part of the works to build the link roads to the new Mersey Gateway Bridge.
Weekend working on the Mersey Gateway Project
A spokesperson for the project said: “We can confirm that there was planned work taking place on Sunday morning (23 November) on both sides of the river. This was essential activity but we are sorry that some people were disturbed by the noise.
We are always keen to get feedback from local people and are constantly reviewing and refreshing our work plans to ensure that we can deliver the new bridge with minimal disruption to local people.”
