The Mersey Gateway Bridge opened on 14th October 2017 as a new six lane toll bridge over the Mersey between the towns of Runcorn and Widnes.
Both the Mersey Gateway Bridge and the Silver Jubilee Bridge are tolled, but eligible Halton residents and registered Blue Badge holders can enjoy unlimited trips once they have successfully registered with merseyflow (admin fees apply)
