Merseylink Time Bank scheme saves local community thousands of pounds

An innovative scheme set up by Merseylink is saving the Halton community thousands of pounds.

The construction consortium, which is building the Mersey Gateway Bridge and associated 9.2km road network, launched the Merseylink Time Bank scheme in May 2014.

Since then, the Merseylink Time Bank has saved the local community an estimated £25,000. Read more →

Walk on the wild side with Merseylink

Nature lovers in Halton are being offered the chance to take part in a special wildlife walk with the Mersey Gateway Project.

The ‘Meadow Meander’ walk will take place on Sunday 14 June 2015 from the Wigg Island visitor centre in Runcorn. The walk starts at 10am-12noon and is repeated at 2pm-4pm.

Thirty places are available on each Meadow Meander walk.

Tickets are priced at £2 for adults and are free for children under 16 years of age. All profit from the ticket sales will be donated to local environmental charities.
