Merseylink opens second round of Time Bank scheme
Halton community organisations, local businesses, and schools are once again being invited to apply for specialist support through the Merseylink Time Bank.

Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road closures will begin over the coming fortnight.

| 15/09/14 | Central Expressway | Off-peak lane 2 closures on Central Expressway northbound and southbound between Halton Brook and Calvers. |
| 16/09/14 – 17/09/14 | A562 Speke Road (Ditton Flyover) | Off-peak lane 2 closures in both directions for barrier repairs. |
| 20/09/14 – 30/09/14 | Weston Link | TOTAL closure of Weston Link northbound from the Weston Point Expressway slip road. This will affect entry onto both the A533 northbound Central Expressway and the A533 eastbound Southern Expressway.The southbound carriageway of Weston Link, heading towards the A557 Weston Point Expressway, will remain open. Local diversions will be in operation |
