Mersey Gateway roadworks update – 5 September 2016

Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

Date	Road	Details
From 5/9/16	A562 Ashley Way, Widnes	Ashley Way will reopen to traffic. Drivers will be unable to turn right into or out of Ashley Way at the junction with Moor Lane until autumn 2016.
5/9/16 – 16/9/16	B5419 Moor Lane, Widnes	Lane closures in both directions on Moor Lane between Ditton roundabout and Kingsway roundabout.
16/9/16 – 19/9/16	A562 Speke Road and Ditton roundabout, Widnes	Weekend closure (7pm Friday – 5.30am Monday) of Speke Road eastbound (towards Widnes) between Everite Road and Ditton roundabout. Closure of the north side of Ditton roundabout between the northbound slip to Speke Road and the access from Moor Lane. A diversion will be in place.
19/9/16 – 26/9/16	Ditton Road and Ditton roundabout, Widnes	Overnight closures (7pm – 5.30am) of Ditton Road eastbound (towards Ditton roundabout) between Hale Road and Ditton roundabout. Closure of the west side of Ditton roundabout between the southbound slip to Queensway and the southbound slip from Speke Road. A diversion will be in place.
