Mersey Gateway roadworks update – 25 April 2016
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

| 25/4/16 – 29/4/16 | Central Expressway, Runcorn | Closure of the southbound exit slip from Central Expressway to Halton Brow. A diversion will be in place. |
| 25/4/16 – 23/5/16 | A533 Queensway, Widnes | Overnight (7.30pm – 5am) lane closures of southbound access slip from Ditton roundabout, towards Runcorn, for demolition of embankments. One lane remains open. |
| 25/4/16 – 23/5/16 | A562 Speke Road, Widnes | Overnight (7.30pm – 5am) lane closures of southbound exit slip to Ditton roundabout and northbound access slip from Ditton roundabout for demolition of embankments. One lane remains open. |
| From 28/4/16 | Hutchinson Street to Ditton Roundabout footpath, Widnes | Closure of the footpath between Hutchinson Street, Queensway and the east side of Ditton Roundabout until further notice. A diversion will be in place. |
| 29/4/16 – 2/5/16 | M56 Junction 12 roundabout, Runcorn | Weekend closure (7.30pm Friday – 5am Monday) of the west side of the M56 Junction 12 roundabout. Signed diversions will be in place. |
