Mersey Gateway roadworks update – 24 October 2016
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

| 28/10/16 – 31/10/16 | A557 Weston Point Expressway, Runcorn | Weekend lane closure (7.30pm Friday – 5am Monday) on Weston Point Expressway northbound (towards the Silver Jubilee Bridge) between M56 Junction 12 and Rocksavage Junction. |
| 28/10/16 – 31/10/16 | A533 Queensway / Silver Jubilee Bridge | Weekend lane closures (7.30pm Friday – 5am Monday) on Queensway southbound (towards Runcorn) between Watkinson Way and the Silver Jubilee Bridge and on Silver Jubilee Bridge northbound (towards Widnes) between the slip road from Weston Point Expressway and Watkinson Way. |
| 31/10/16 – 1/11/16 | Beechwood Avenue, Runcorn | Two-way temporary traffic signals on Beechwood Avenue under Weston Link. |
| 1/11/16 – 30/11/16 | Bus stops at Runcorn Shopping Centre North | Closure of the bus stops at Runcorn Shopping Centre North. All services will operate as normal but passengers must use the temporary bus stops located underneath the north side on Second Avenue. |
| 4/11/16 – 5/11/16 | A533 Southern Expressway / A5126 Weston Link, Runcorn | One day weekend closure (9pm Friday – 6pm Saturday) of Southern Expressway northbound and Weston Link westbound (towards the Weston Point Expressway) between Hallwood Interchange and Rocksavage Viaduct. A diversion will be in place |
| 4/11/16 – 7/11/16 | A557 Weston Point Expressway, Runcorn | Weekend lane closure (10pm Friday – 5am Monday) on Weston Point Expressway northbound (towards the Silver Jubilee Bridge) between M56 Junction 12 and Weston Point Junction. |
| From 6/11/16 | A533 Bridgewater Expressway / A558 Daresbury Expressway, Runcorn | Reopening of Bridgewater / Daresbury Expressway eastbound (towards Daresbury). |
| 6/11/16 for approx 6 months | Astmoor Road, Runcorn | Closure of Astmoor Road in both directions between Chadwick Road and Davy Road. Signed diversions will be in place. |
