Mersey Gateway roadworks update
New works
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

| 24/09/17 – 25/09/17 | A557 Weston Point Expressway, Runcorn | Overnight closure (7.30pm Sunday – 5am Monday) of the southbound Weston Point Expressway between the Weston Link and M56 roundabout. A diversion will be in place. |
| 24/09/17 – 25/09/17 | A557 Weston Link, Runcorn | Overnight closure (7.30pm Sunday – 5am Monday) of Weston Link slip road to Weston Point Expressway southbound. A diversion will be in place. |
| 28/09/17 – 29/09/17 | Ditton Junction, Widnes | Overnight total closure (7.30pm Thursday – 5am Friday) of eastbound through route under Ditton Junction. A diversion will be in place. |
| 29/09/17 – 01/10/17 | A562 Speke Road, Widnes | Weekend closure (7.30pm Friday – 7pm Sunday) of southbound Speke Road. A diversion will be in place. |
