Mersey Gateway roadworks update – 22 June 2015
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road and lane closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

| 22/6/15 – 3/7/15 | A562 Speke Road to A533 Ditton off slip | Lane 1 closure from St Michael’s Road overbridge to Ditton off slip. Off peak only (9.30am – 3.30pm). |
| 22/6/15 – for 12 months | A533 Central Expressway northbound slip road from Halton Lea | Total closure of northbound slip road from Halton Lea to Central Expressway. A local diversion via Hallwood junction will be in place. |
| 22/6/15 – for 12 months | Weston Link slip road to Central Expressway northbound | Total closure of slip road from Weston Link eastbound to Central Expressway northbound. A local diversion via Hallwood junction will be in place. |
| 22/6/15 – 26/6/15 | M56 Junction 12 roundabout | A series of off-peak closures (9.30am – 3.30pm) to lane one in the Clifton Roundabout area to allow National Grid gas works to take place. |
| 26/2/15 – ongoing | Boston Avenue slip road to A533 Central Expressway northbound | Total closure of slip road from Boston Avenue to A533 Central Expressway northbound. From 22 June, the diversion will be re-routed via Hallwood junction due to the closure of the slip road from Halton Lea to the Central Expressway. |
| 29/6/15 – for 12 months | A557 Weston Point Expressway slip road to Weston Link eastbound | Total closure of slip road from Weston Point Expressway northbound (from M56 Junction 12) to Weston Link eastbound (towards Central Expressway). A local diversion will be in place. |
