Mersey Gateway roadworks update – 14 November 2016

Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

Date	Road	Details
17-18/11/16	Halton Lea junction, A533 Central Expressway, Runcorn	Overnight slip road closures (10.00pm – 4.30am) at Halton Lea junction. The southbound exit slip to Halton Link Road will close for 2 hours with a diversion in place. The southbound exit slip to Halton Lea roundabout will close for 2 hours with a diversion in place.
26/11/16	A557 Weston Point Expressway, Runcorn	One-day lane closure (7.30am – 4.00pm) on Weston Point Expressway southbound (towards the M56) between Rocksavage interchange and M56 Junction 12 roundabout.
26 – 28/11/16	A533 Southern Expressway / A5126 Weston Link, Runcorn	Weekend closure (midnight on Friday night – 5.30am Monday) of Southern Expressway northbound and Weston Link westbound (towards the Weston Point Expressway) between Hallwood interchange and Rocksavage viaduct. A diversion will be in place.
28/11/16 – 2/12/16	A533 Queensway, Widnes	Overnight lane closures (7.30pm – 5.30am) in both directions on Queensway between the Silver Jubilee Bridge and Ditton junction.
