Mersey Gateway roadworks update – 13 February 2017
Road openings
The following routes will reopen following essential work on the Mersey Gateway project:

| From 20/2/17 | A533 Central Expressway, Runcorn | Reopening of Central Expressway southbound (towards Lodge Lane junction) under Halton Lea junction. |
New works
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

| 18-20/2/17 | A533 Central Expressway, Runcorn | Weekend closure (midnight on Friday night – 5am Monday) of Central Expressway southbound (towards Lodge Lane junction) between the offslip and access slip at Halton Brow junction. A diversion will be in place. |
| 20/2/17 – 4/3/17 | A533 Central Expressway, Runcorn | Closure of Central Expressway southbound exit slip to Halton Lea roundabout. A diversion will be in place. |
| 3/3/17 – mid April 2017 | Beechwood Avenue, Runcorn | Two-way traffic signals on Beechwood Avenue under Weston Link. |

10-13/3/17 |
Clifton Road / Beechwood Avenue, Runcorn | Weekend overnight closures (9.30pm – 6am) of Clifton Road / Beechwood Avenue between Rocksavage Way and Betchworth Crescent. A diversion will be in place. |

11-13/3/17 |
Victoria Road / Waterloo Road, Widnes | Weekend closures (midnight on Friday night – 5am Monday) of Victoria Road / Waterloo Road in both directions between Hutchinson Street and Ashley Way. A diversion will be in place. |
| 6-13/3/17 | Halton Lea Roundabout, Runcorn | Closure of north side of Halton Lea roundabout. A diversion will be in place. |
