Mersey Gateway roadworks update
New works
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.
Please note the table below does not include details of ongoing work. For information on existing major closures and diversion routes, visit Plan Your Journey on the Mersey Gateway website.

| 19/06/17 – 23/06/17 | Lower House Lane, Widnes | Overnight closures (7.30pm – 5am) of Lower House Lane northbound only, between Moor Lane and Dundalk Road. A diversion will be in place |
| 240/6/17 – 25/06/17 | Halton Lea roundabout, Runcorn | Total overnight closure (10pm – 4am) of south side of Halton Lea roundabout. A diversion will be in place. |
| 23/06/17 – 26/06/17 | A562 Speke Road, Widnes | Weekend closure (7.30pm Friday – 5am Monday) of either northbound or southbound Speke Road. The direction of the closure, and therefore the diversion, will alternate between the northbound and southbound Speke Road. |
