Mersey Gateway roadworks update
New works
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.
Please note the table below does not include details of ongoing work. For information on existing major closures and diversion routes, visit Plan Your Journey on the Mersey Gateway website.

| 14/09/17 – 15/09/17 | Ditton Junction, Widnes | Overnight total closure (7.30pm – 5am) of eastbound through route under Ditton Junction. A diversion will be in place. |
| 15/09/17 – 17/09/17 | A562 Speke Road, Widnes | Weekend closure (7.30pm Friday – 7pm Sunday) of southbound Speke Road. A diversion will be in place. |
