Mersey Gateway roadworks update – 1 August 2016
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

| 1-26/8/16 | A562 Speke Road, Widnes | Overnight lane closures (7.30pm – 5am) on the access and exit slips between Speke Road and Ditton roundabout. |
| 6-7/8/16 | A562 Speke Road, Widnes | Weekend lane closure (midnight on Friday night – 6pm Sunday) on Speke Road eastbound (towards Widnes) between the layby east of Everite Road and Ditton roundabout. |
| 6-7/8/16 | A533 Central Expressway, Runcorn | Weekend closure (midnight on Friday night – 5am Sunday) of Central Expressway southbound (towards the Southern Expressway) at Halton Brow junction. A diversion will be in place. |
| 8/8/16 | A562 Speke Road, Widnes | Offpeak lane closure (9.30am – 3.30pm) on Speke Road eastbound (towards Widnes) between Everite Road and Ditton roundabout. |
| 8/8/16 – 26/8/16 | A562 Speke Road, Widnes | Overnight lane closures (7.30pm – 5am) on Speke Road eastbound (towards Widnes) between the A5300 Knowsley Expressway junction and Ditton roundabout. |
