Mersey Gateway roadworks upate – 20 June 2016
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

| 24/6/16 – 27/6/16 | A557 Weston Point Expressway, Runcorn | Weekend lane closures (7.30pm Friday – 5am Monday) in both directions on Weston Point Expressway between Rocksavage Viaduct and M56 Junction 12 roundabout. |
| 2-3/7/16 | A557 Weston Point Expressway, Runcorn | Overnight closure (7pm – 11am) of Weston Point Expressway southbound (towards M56) between Weston Link and M56 Junction 12 roundabout. A diversion will be in place. |
| 4-5/7/16 | A557 Weston Point Expressway, Runcorn | Offpeak (9.30am – 3.30pm) lane closures on Weston Point Expressway southbound (towards M56) between Weston Link and M56 Junction 12 roundabout. |
| 6-7/7/16 | A557 Weston Point Expressway, Runcorn | Offpeak (9.30am – 3.30pm) lane closures on Weston Point Expressway in both directions between Weston Link and M56 Junction 12 roundabout. |

A533 Central Expressway, Runcorn | Weekend closures (midnight on Friday night – 5am Sunday) of Central Expressway southbound (towards the Southern Expressway) at Halton Brow junction. A diversion will be in place. |
