Mersey Gateway roadworks update – 28 September

Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following new road, lane and footpath closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

Date of closure

Road / footpath Details
12/10/15 – mid November M56 junction 12 eastbound exit slip road There will be a total closure of the eastbound exit slip road at junction 12 of the M56 from Monday 12 October for around five weeks. There will be a diversion route in place via junction 11 of the M56.
2/10/15 – 4/10/15 Moor Lane / Ashley Way There will be a total closure of Moor Lane westbound and Ashley Way (between Victoria Road and Moor Lane Roundabout) between 7pm on October 2 and 7pm on October 4. A diversion will be in place.
4/10/15 – approx 8 weeks Lower House Lane / Moor Lane There will be a total closure of Lower House Lane between Lower House Lane roundabout and Moor Lane roundabout. A diversion will be in place. A contraflow will also be in place eastbound along Moor Lane for about 8 weeks from 7pm on October 4.
5/10/15 – approx 8 weeks Desoto Road northbound access slip to Ditton roundabout

CANCELLED 1/10/2015

Total overnight closures of Desoto Road northbound access slip road to Ditton Roundabout. The closure will be in place for about 8 weeks overnight between 7pm and 5am. A will be in place.
