Construction workers from the Mersey Gateway Project are putting their skills to good use this summer by building a brand new community play area in Halton.
West Bank Community Centre in Widnes is being gifted a new outdoor play area – worth approximately £26,500 – by Merseylink and its supply chain. Read more →

Concrete pour for bridge pylons marks next step for the Mersey Gateway Project
A massive concrete pour will take place in the Mersey estuary tonight (Monday 3 August 2015) as construction crews build the south pylon foundations for the Mersey Gateway Bridge.
It is the project’s biggest single concrete pour and will involve pumping around 1,400 cubic metres of concrete into the south cofferdam to form the base of the south pylon. Read more →
