Community groups encouraged to apply to Merseylink’s Time Bank scheme

Community organisations in Halton are being given another chance to apply to Merseylink’s Time Bank for specialist support.

The bridge builder has announced that Round 6 of its innovative Time Bank scheme will open on Monday 26 September 2016 and will accept applications until Friday 21 October 2016.

From Monday 26 September traffic travelling south from Liverpool to the Silver Jubilee Bridge will no longer have to follow the old Ditton Roundabout route. Read more →

Talented youngsters display bridge artwork at Widnes Library

Local youngsters are showcasing their artistic talents in a new exhibition dedicated to the Mersey Gateway Project.

The display at Widnes Library features the artwork of pupils from nine primary schools who have been working with professional artists on creative projects linked to Halton’s new river crossing.

The exhibition is free to attend and is open to the public until Saturday 15 October 2016.
