Merseylink consortium welcomes awards success and praises advisory team
The Merseylink consortium has congratulated Halton Borough Council and paid tribute to its advisers after Mersey Gateway picked up a double award success.
The deal that saw the consortium appointed by Halton Borough Council to design, build, finance and operate the Mersey Gateway Project picked up two prestigious international awards.
Bridge project is top of the class
Halton pupils are getting lessons in bridge and road building, thanks to a new education programme on offer from Merseylink.
Weston Point Community Primary School in Runcorn is one of the first local schools to take part in the programme and host the Mersey Gateway team at its school assembly.

Students from a Halton college are being given the chance to hear from industry experts working on the Mersey Gateway Project.
A series of four educational workshops has been organised by bridge-builder Merseylink for students at Riverside College in Widnes.
