Site tour for Mersey Gateway volunteers
Volunteers who will be helping the Mersey Gateway project toured a variety of locations on the site recently.
Mersey Gateway volunteers enjoyed a tour of the project site recently.
This involved dropping into the Catalyst Science Discovery Centre, travelling to the observatory, and heading down to the river bank to see the construction work currently taking place to build the trestle bridge.
Louise Cash, Merseylink’s volunteer coordinator who arranged the visit, said: “The volunteers are all eager to get started with their roles and are enthusiastic about taking part in this landmark project.”
