Volunteers who will be helping the Mersey Gateway project toured a variety of locations on the site recently.

This involved dropping into the Catalyst Science Discovery Centre, travelling to the observatory, an

d heading down to the river bank to see the construction work currently taking place to build the trestle bridge.

Louise Cash, Merseylink’s volunteer coordinator who arranged the visit, said: “The volunteers are all e
