New road, lane and footpath closures
Essential work on the Mersey Gateway Project means the following road and lane closures will be in place over the coming days and weeks.

| 26/1/15 – 30/1/15 | Moor Lane roundabout | Work to be conducted on the inner ring of Moor Lane roundabout. This will be done in small sections. Work will be carried out between 9.30am and 3.30pm. |
| 26/1/15 – ongoing for six to eight weeks | A533 at Lodgelane interchange | Southbound closures of hard shoulder and lane 1, for main site access work and trial holes. |
| 29/1/15 | Weston Link to Weston Point Expressway | Total closure of slip road from Weston Link to Weston Point Expressway, southbound. Diversion is available via Rocksavage Junction. For survey work. |
Work is now taking place between 7pm and 5am Monday to Friday, and between 7am and 5pm Saturday and Sunday, along the Weston Point Expressway heading towards the M56 Junction 12. The road is down to one lane southbound as it approaches the roundabout / junction. Work is expected to continue until summer 2015.
