Motorists advised of new diversions around Ditton roundabout
Motorists are being advised of a series of new roadworks and diversions as improvements to the road network continue prior to the opening of the Mersey Gateway bridge.

Summer interns join Mersey Gateway Project
Five young people from North West England have joined the Mersey Gateway Project on paid summer internships.
The interns are a mix of students and recent graduates from universities in Liverpool, Salford and Birmingham.

They are each spending a minimum of six weeks on site with Merseylink, the construction consortium building Halton’s iconic bridge and road project. Read more →

Walk on the wild side hailed as major success
Nature-lovers got a rare treat when they were able to take in the wildlife at Fiddler’s Ferry nature reserve.
About 15 people attended the Hawks and Hawkers event, organised by the Mersey Gateway Project, which enabled wildlife enthusiasts to take a guided tour around the area, which is normally closed to the public.
